Students now have the opportunity to earn a certificate of achievement from Apertures School of Photography by completing the following classes:
Required:
- Beginning Digital Photography
- Intermediate Digital Photography
- Advanced Digital Photography
- Studio Lighting I
- Adobe Photoshop CS5 OR Adobe Photoshop Elements, OR Adobe Lightroom
Choose any two of the following electives:
- Wedding Photography
- Sports Photography
- Photojournalism
- Creative Lighting and Portraiture
- Flash Photography
- Infant Photography & Posing I
- Traditional Film I and Traditional Film II
After completing the required classes, students will present a portfolio of 12 of their best images for critique with several of the school’s instructors. The critique is meant to help students develop a professional portfolio that they can proudly show to friends, family, and potential clients. Once the portfolio is complete, students will be presented with the Certificate of Achievement.
Other benefits of enrolling in the certificate program include:
- The opportunity to assist our professional photographers on photo shoots in our studio or on location
- One-on-one tutoring in the studio with an instructor. Contact an instructor for scheduling and pricing information. Not available with all instructors.
